The KwaZulu-Natal provincial government has formally declared its readiness to host the G20 leaders' summit at the Nazare Expo Center, following months of intensive coordination with the national government and a presidential working committee. This milestone addresses the president's prior concerns over deteriorating infrastructure, including water shortages, potholes, broken pipes, nonfunctional traffic lights, power cuts, uncollected waste, and sewer spills, all of which have now been resolved. The province assures citizens, businesses, labor, and the tourism industry of a safe and secure environment, with commitments to sustained collaboration for hosting future international events.
