At the B20 South Africa Summit, the first held on African soil during South Africa's G20 presidency, leaders unveiled 11 legacy initiatives in areas like mining, critical minerals, food security, education, entrepreneurship, and finance to sustain business impact beyond the event. President Cyril Ramaphosa and Minister Parks Tau emphasized Africa's economic potential, the urgency of debt sustainability, inclusive growth, and G20 trade declarations supporting value addition and sustainable industrialization for developing economies. The summit concluded with the handover of the B20 presidency to the US Chamber of Commerce via a symbolic talking stick and communique, reinforcing global business-government partnerships for resilient, equitable prosperity.
