Mashatile Receives P20 Report, Calls for Inclusive Global Governance Ahead of G20 Summit

Deputy President Paul Mashatile has formally received the outcomes of the 11th G20 Parliamentary Speakers’ Summit (P20), hosted in South Africa for the first time, including resolutions, declarations from women and youth parliamentarians, and the SAI20 Communiqué on audit oversight. These documents highlight priorities such as transparency, gender-responsive governance, youth inclusion, skills development, and sustainable infrastructure, aligning with South Africa’s G20 Presidency theme of Solidarity, Equality, and Sustainability. They serve as a roadmap for action, embedding diverse voices into global decision-making ahead of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg on November 22-23.
